Five weeks ago I posted a video of us “Roller crimping” our cover crops in Gorstey field.

Here is an updated photo showing that the majority of the cover crop has wilted

This has redistributed plant nutrients back to the soil via the roots and provided a “protection armour” for the soil but leaving us with a more manageable field in the spring.
